Honda Cup - Presented by XBR

Post by Twisted on Mon Apr 09, 2012 8:42 am

Looking at the cars and the previous races this series looks pretty balanced between the entries, should make for a good event, even though FWD can take a Tank Shell from me.

Anyways i have a basic setup, TIESTO has one also people have used, however if you do want to test mine it is in the Club garage, sorry if it isn't amazing. B Class, Civics or FWD are things i have'nt done any of at all so bare with me lol Wink

Its still possible to enter and all cars are FWD (gay) and must run the same build as the other car of the same type, so all Civic 97s will run the same build, and the 99s will run the same build for example, so its all down to choice of car and the tuning, the link to sign up is here:

having completed several tests last night , it looks as though the formula for rear wheel drive conversions can be done whilst still keeping the competition close, whith just a base tune on the Honda Del La Sol it was on average 3/4 of a second off pace, which I would Put down to Tuning, Twisted and Speedy are currently Tuning thier versions of the build agreed with Wrukalum. I'll be back on tonight about 6pm only for a couple of hours, I will try to convert the other 2 Hondas to the same effect using the same formula. If possible could Twisted and Speedy please Send thier final versions of tune back to Wrukalum / Ravin for Qualification Testing , Thanks for all your help Fellas

Yes. I'm slightly weary about doing this. The characteristics, as we have seen are totally different in the different drivetrains. I don't think this is going to be a good thing. All adding more cars is going to do is make the grids more varied. The wider the grid, the less people are going to want to race. I'm going to try them out tonight, if there is anymore then about half a second in it, I'm going to say no to them. I'm sorry, but it's hard enough trying to get people to drive now, never mind if the racing isn't at such a high quality as it has been in previous practices.

Sorry for letting you down. Maybe once we have some prior commitments out the way in everyone's case and some rules cleared up, specifically in the respect point of view!
